Screenshots

Press Print Screen while reading: the game's window is saved in a folder for that VN.

Take one

With the VN in front, press Print Screen. Only the game's window is captured (not your whole screen), a short shutter sound plays, and a small notice confirms it:

You can also use Take screenshot in the tray menu.

The key only works while the game's window is active. Anywhere else, Print Screen keeps doing what it normally does in Windows.

Where they go

By default in Pictures\Visual Novel RPC\<VN title>\, one folder per VN. To use another folder, change Folder in Settings → General → Screenshots. Screenshots already taken aren't moved.

Change the key or the sound

In Settings → General → Screenshots:

Capture key: click the button, then press the key or combination you want (e.g. Ctrl + F12). Esc cancels, Backspace turns the key off.
Capture sound: volume of the shutter sound (Off at 0). ▶ plays it so you can check.

The gallery

The Screenshots page shows your captures. Choose a VN in the filter to see only its screenshots, or All games. Open folder opens the folder in Explorer.

Select a screenshot to see it large, with four buttons: Copy (then paste it in Discord with Ctrl + V), Open, Show in folder and Delete.

Each VN's page in the Library also shows its latest screenshots.
